Responsibilities and Duties
Home Care Services
• Observing & reporting client changes
• Providing companionship & supervision
• Light housekeeping & laundry
• Meal preparation & medication reminders
• Assisting clients with ADL’s & personal care services (includes bathing, dressing, grooming, & oral care)
• Walking assistance & physical transfers
Qualifications and Skills
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Initial HIV/AIDS In-service Certificate
• Statement of Health (done within the last 6 months stating that you are free of any communicable diseases)
• Must have own, reliable transportation
• Social Security Card
• Must be trustworthy, reliable and have personal integrity
• Current CNA license or HHA certificate (HHA certificate must reflect a minimum of 40 hours of classroom training)
• AHCA Level 2 background screening
• Current CPR Card
